If you have some sort of Warframe system similar to AoZ and the other cosmetic "progressive system" Then you have a limited set of Warframes that I would say are the most deserving of receiving this "Umbra Treatment" as it celebrates them being the frames that started all of this. And that's completely rational considering they were here first. You see where I'm going with this? If you want a limited release well: Heres the pool it's probably coming from. Your 9th potential subject is Frost being that he was the first Primed Warframe available to everyone. I'm not including Excal Prime to this for obvious reasons. It won't be simply a 3rd line of Warframes.īut What I think it could be is a combination of 2 things:ġ) A progressive system that we as players interact with like what we are seeing in Angels of Zariman which involves Warframes.Ģ) Progressive Umbra skins/Armor sets/Syndanas like with other cosmetics that we are now seeing in the Warframe Market.ĭo you remember the "Subject 9" tag on the teaser art tied to Excalibur Umbra? I'm referring to this because Warframe launched with 8 Warframes.Įxcalibur, Ash, Ember, Rhino, Trinity, Volt, Mag and Loki. So what I am going to do is shift this discussion into how Umbra could look if DE returns to adding more. Umbra being a limited release was always the original intention with them. If it's being referred as a "dauting" task then that should tell you that they are if they are returning to the Umbra concept: It wont be the entire roster. Because I can pretty much guarantee it won't involve the entire roster of Warframes. So if that's the case: That data is irrelevant because it won't line up with that thinking. But what I do think DE is trying to do is to be much more creative when it comes to doing a 3rd set of Warframes. Its not that I'm denouncing anything your saying. Whatever floats your boat, at this point its apparent you just want to denounce and not listen
